SoundMasker

The noise colors, the drone, the 432 Hz and 528 Hz tones, and the binaural beats are generated in your browser while you listen. Everything else is a real recording.

The recordings come mostly from Freesound, picked from the best rated and most downloaded sounds released under CC0 or Creative Commons licenses. The grand piano is the Salamander Grand Piano by Alexander Holm, used under CC BY 3.0. The harp and the hang drum are from the FreePats project, CC0. Each file downloads only when you turn its layer up. Long recordings are played from random points and crossfaded, so you do not hear a loop. The piano, harp, and hang play short phrases along a pentatonic scale, a different one each time.

Community sounds

A few sounds were added so the community page has something to listen to. They are public domain, except the campfire, which is used under CC BY 3.0. The people named on those cards are example accounts, not the recordists.

Birds

Bird calls are recordings from xeno-canto, hosted on Wikimedia Commons, used under Creative Commons. They play one call at a time in random order.
